ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction) (Wolverhampton Street, Dudley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in an eastbound direction on Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 18/11/2026 and will remain in force until 27/11/2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Eastbound traffic will be diverted via: The Parade, The Broadway, Priory Road, Ednam Road, St James’s Road, and Trinity Road. Northbound traffic will be diverted via: Salop Street, Highland Road, Limepit Road, The Broadway, Priory Road, Ednam Road, St James’s Road, Trinity Road, and Wolverhampton Street.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Public Right Of Way) (Cycle Lane, Tipton Road, Dudley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any cyclists proceeding on the Public Right of Way southbound cycle lane at Tipton Road, Dudley, for the purpose of the installation of new cables for BT works being carried out on or near the affected public right of way. The order will come into operation on 16/11/2026 and will remain in force until 27/11/2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 6 months. No diversion route is necessary.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Shaw Road, Coseley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Shaw Road, Coseley, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 15/11/2026 and will remain in force until 22/11/2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Hurst Road, Gorge Street, Bilston Street, High Street, Dudley Street, Tipton Street, Tipton Road, Sedgley Road, Birmingham New Road, Rookery Road, and Ettingshall Road.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
