Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made the CITY OF MANCHESTER (VARIOUS ROADS IN PICCADILLY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, PROHIBITION OF LOADING/UNLOADING, LIMITED WAITING PARKING PLACE, GOODS VEHICLE PARKING PLACE, DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce:

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Bendix Street, (i) north-east side from Oldham Road north-westerly direction for 15.5m, (ii) north-east side from 55m north west of Oldham Road north-westerly to its Chadderton Street, (iii) south-west side from Oldham Road north-westerly to Chadderton Street. Chadderton Street, (i) north-west side from Goulden Street south-westerly to a point 6m north east of Marshall Street, (ii) north-west side from Goulden Street north-easterly for 6.6m, (iii) north-west side from 25.2m north east of Goulden Street north-easterly to Bendix Street, (iv) south-east side from 6m north east of Marshall Street north-easterly to Bendix Street. Cross Keys Street, south-east side from Goulden Street north-easterly for 33m. Goulden Street, both sides from Chadderton Street north-westerly to Cross Keys Street.

NO WAITING MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8AM - 6PM AND SATURDAY 8AM-12:30PM
Chadderton Street, both sides from Marshall Street north-easterly for 6m. Cross Keys Street, south-east side from 33m northeast of Goulden Street north-easterly to Thompson Street.

Chadderton Street, (i) north-west side from Goulden Street northeasterly for 6.6m, (ii) north-west side from 25.2m north east of Goulden Street north-easterly to Bendix Street, (iii) south-east side from Bendix Street south-westerly for 10m. Cross Keys Street, south-east side from Goulden Street north-easterly for 10m. Goulden Street, (i) north-east side from Cross Keys Street south-easterly for 10m, (ii) northeast side from Chadderton Street north-westerly for 10m.

DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE
Bendix Street, north-east side from 15.5m north west of Oldham Road north-westerly for 6.6m, width of 2.7m. Chadderton Street, north-west side from 6.6m north east of Goulden Street north-easterly for 6.6m, width of 2.7 metres.

Existing Orders shall be amended to be consistent with the proposals. The Order was made on 23rd October 2026 and will come into effect on 30th October 2026.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 23rd October 2026 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
