Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
NORTH STREET, ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to provide approx 5m new duct in footway.
Order Commences: 16 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: North Street, Ratcliffe Road, St Georges Road, Sheepy Road and vice versa.

FOUL END LANE, HURLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Water mains renewal works.
Order Commences: 5 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 December 2026.
Access & Diversion: Foul End Lane, Hurley Lane, Camp Farm Road, Knowle Hill, Atherstone Road and vice versa.

C8 ROBEY’S LANE, SHUTTINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Alvecote Lane and the B5000 Glascote Road/Tamworth Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs - 15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 3 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 4 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: B5000 Tamworth Road/Glascote Road, Mercian Way, Tamworth Road, Shuttington Road and vice versa.

SYCAMORE ROAD, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works for laying new duct.
Order Commences: 2 November 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Tamworth Road, Sycamore Road and vice versa.

D328 PICCADILLY WAY & C122 TRINITY ROAD, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic. In addition, the 7.5t weight limit on C122 Trinity Road from its junction with Coventry Road will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works: Order Commences: 18 November 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 24 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: Trinity Road, A51 Coventry Road and Piccadilly Way.

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Chetwynd Avenue closed between its junctions with St. Leonards View and Riddings Garden, 16 November 2026
Hillcrest Road closed between its junctions with St. Leonards View and Bardon View Road, 16 November 2026, St. Leonards View, Polesworth/Dordon closed between its junctions with Bardon View Road and Chaytor Road,16 - 18 November 2026, Anker View closed in its entirety from its junction with St. Edithas Road, 19 November 2026.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated, 09.30hrs - 15.30hrs. Works will be carried out in phases between the 16 - 19 November (no two roads will be closed at the same time). Order Commences: 16 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: D53 Chetwynd Avenue – St. Leonards View, Chaytor Road, Morris Hill and vice versa. D117 Hillcrest Road – St. Leonards View, Bardon View Road, D55 St. Leonards View – Bardon View Road, Chaytor Road and vice versa, D57 Anker View – no diversion.

CHURCH LANE, NETHER WHITACRE
Effect of Order: Church Lane, Nether Whitacre will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable grass verge trenching and an 8m tarmac road crossing.
Order Effective from: 16 November 2026 for up to 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is sooner.
Anticipated Completion Date: 18 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible.

Access & Diversion: Carlyon Road, Ratcliffe Road, St Georges Road, Sheepy Road, Rowland Way, Old Holly Lane, Holly Lane, A5, Watling Street, Long Street, and vice versa.

Access & Diversion: Long Street, Whitehouse Road, Dordon Road, Fairfields Hill, Market Street, Grendon Road, Polesworth Road, Sheepy Road, Atherstone Road, Old Holly Lane, Holly Lane, A5, Watling Street and vice versa.

MAIN ROAD, BAXTERLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to renew pole.
Order Commences: 18 November 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Main Road, Baxterley Road, Tamworth Road, Hurley Common, Brick Kiln Lane, Knowle Hill, Atherstone Road, Atherstone Lane, Wigston Hill, Windmill Lane, The Orchard and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
