TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B106 BRANDON ROAD, CULFORD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B106 Brandon Road, Culford from the junction with the Triangle for 410 metres south eastbound to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1106, the A11, the A1101, the B1106 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 30/10/2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2311 SCHOOL LANE, BENHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2311 School Lane, Benhall from the junction with Benhall Green for 180 metres northbound to facilitate overhead cabling work. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Benhall Green, Main Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 30/10/2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A12 MAIN ROAD, DARSHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A12 Main Road, Darsham from the junction with Westleton Road to the junction with The Street to facilitate road widening, footpath improvement, new pedestrian crossing island, street lighting, resurfacing and marking works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12, the A14, the A140, the A143, the A146, the A1145, the A12 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/10/2026 - 02/11/2026 from 8pm - 5am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1125 RECKFORD ROAD, WESTLETON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1125 Reckford Road, Westleton from Rectory Road for 1400 metres northbound to facilitate a water main laying scheme. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12, the B1122 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from

• 09/11/2026 - 22/12/2026

• 04/01/2027 - 01/03/2027

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

• C442 Lower Street, Sproughton from Sproughton Road to Church Lane

This is to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A14, the A1214, the A1071, the B1113, Lower Street, Sproughton Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/11/2026 - 14/11/2026 from 8pm - 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4101 Norwich Road Service Road, Ipswich from number 612 to number 618 to facilitate a stop tap replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Norwich Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/11/2026 - 11/11/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the footway from no. 32 to no. 34 Bull Drive, Kesgrave from no. 30 for 13 metres eastbound to facilitate a stop tap replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be from number 4 Bull Drive, Ropes Drive, Wilkinson Drive, Bull Drive and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1094 FARNHAM ROAD, THE B1069 SNAPE ROAD AND THE B1121 ALDEBURGH ROAD, FRISTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the:

• A1094 Farnham Road, Friston from 86 metres west of the junction with the B1121, for 295.40 metres south eastbound and 100 metres westbound of the junction.

• B1069 Snape Road, Friston from the junction with the A1094 for 250 metres north eastbound.

• B1121 Aldeburgh Road, Friston from the junction with the A1094 for 265 metres south westbound and 575 metres eastbound.

This is to facilitate landscaping and carriageway resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1122, the B1353, the B1069, the B1119, the B1121, the A12, the A1094 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/11/2026 - 18/12/2026 between 8pm and 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Lower Road Rattlesden, Stowmarket Road, Fen Street, Lower Road Onehouse, Purple Hill, Rattlesden Road, Workhouse Lane and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the A1088 Ixworth Road, Stowlangtoft from Lime Kiln Cottage to Bridge Farm to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
