Keighley - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF

BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL LEYLANDS LANE, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Leylands Lane, Keighley has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Leylands Lane from its junction with Parkwood Street to a point outside the rear of No.106 Parkwood Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Leylands Lane (unaffected section), Moore Street, Parkwood Street and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 2nd of November 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 6th of November 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
