TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (Yorkshire and Humber) (No.22) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway to the south of Midland Road at Masbrough the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. This is to enable development as permitted by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council under reference RB2023/1324 and RB2025/1255.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@ dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/6377). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at The Holmes Post Office, 146 Ferham Road, Rotherham, S61 1DY.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 29 October 2026.
