What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Herefordshire Council made the PUBLIC FOOTPATH US5, UPPER SAPEY (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 temporarily closing the said footpath from OS Grid Reference SO 6887 6382 to SO 6926 6383. The closure is required while water main replacement work takes place. There is no alternative route.

The Order came into operation on 28 October 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months (unless extended by the Secretary of State) or until any said works have been completed, (whichever is the earlier), or until determined by Herefordshire Council.
