THE BOROUGH OF BROXBOURNE (VARIOUS ROADS, HODDESDON, BROXBOURNE, CHESHUNT & WALTHAM CROSS) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Broxbourne Borough Council, with the consent of Hertfordshire County Council, in order to prevent obstructive parking, improve visibility at junctions and to facilitate the passage of traffic, proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions on various roads in Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Cheshunt and Waltham Cross, as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
Documents giving more detailed particulars may be inspected, by prior appointment, during office hours, at Broxbourne Borough Council, Borough Offices, Bishops' College, Churchgate, Cheshunt, Herts EN8 9XQ.
Appointments to view the documents must be made by calling 01992 785555 or may be viewed online at www. broxbourne.gov.uk/consultations from 29 October 2026. General enquiries relating to the proposals should be referred to the TRO team via email at TROs@broxbourne. gov.uk or tel: 01992 785555.
Objections to the proposals stating the grounds on which they are made, or other representations, must be sent in writing to Broxbourne Borough Council, Borough Offices, Bishops' College, Churchgate, Cheshunt, Herts EN8 9XQ or TROs@broxbourne.gov.uk by 19 November 2026.
Schedule: No waiting at any time - those sections of road listed below and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans:
• Parts of Walton Road and Rye Road/The Drive and Dorchester Avenue/Ogard Road and Old Highway/Ryefield Close and Stanstead Road/ Hertford Road/ Ware Road/ Walton Road and Whitley Road/ Rawdon Drive, Hoddesdon
• Parts of Rochford Close, Broxbourne
• Parts of Bloomfield Road and Hammondstreet Road/ Richmond Close and Dewhurst Road/Hillview Gardens and Beltona Gardens/Varney Close/Bullwell Crescent and Roundmoor Drive, Cheshunt
• Parts of Lodge Crescent and Seaforth Drive, Waltham Cross
