What is happening?

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A4135 TILSDOWN (DURSLEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A4135 Tilsdown from its junction with The Drive to outside of the property known as ‘Number 13’ for a distance of approximately 90 metres. The reason for the closure is for manhole repair works.
The road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 15th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C284 KILCOTT ROAD (HILLESLEY AND TRESHAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C284 Kilcott Road from its junction with the 501465 Lower Kilcott Hillesley to County Boundary Road to outside the Cattle Grid, for a distance of approximately 130 metres.
The reason for the closure is for water mains works by Bristol Water.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00hs on 16th November 2026 until 17:00hrs on 27th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401404 THE QUARRY (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401404 The Quarry from its junction with Taits Hill Road to its junction with Yew Tree Close for a distance of approximately 40 metres. The reason for the closure is for cabling works.
The road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 16th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
