(AVONDALE ROAD, SPARKHILL) (VARIATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:
• To introduce a One Way traffic system on AVONDALE ROAD, SPARKHILL from Stratford Road junction to Percy Road junction.
The Order will come into operation on 30th October 2026.
A copy of the Order together with the plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons will be made available on request. (Contact Garry Dalton Tel: 0121 303 5405: email: garry.dalton@birmingham.gov.uk).
If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order may within 6 weeks from the 29th October 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
