Temporary Prohibition of Use of Byway Open to All Traffic 54 Alveley Shropshire Council has made an order temporarily prohibiting the use of BOAT 54 in the Parish of Alveley from where it leaves the A442 at grid reference SO 7701 8363 travelling in a south westerly direction to meet the County Road at grid reference SO 7671 8355.
An extension has been granted by the Secretary of State allowing the Order to continue to be in force from 30th October 2026 until the 30th October 2027 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier. It is required to allow for general maintenance, and surface repair works to be safely carried out.
There is no alternative route available.
