Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F30042 Snowshill Cl to Snowshill Cl (fronting no’s 31-16) from its junction with U32023 Snowshill Cl (fronting no. 27) to its junction with U32023 Snowshill Cl (rear no. 28).

Reason: Replacement Gas Main by Cadent.

Alternative route: U32023 Snowshill Close.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days (24hrs). Commencing: 2 November 2026.

(U31129 Parsons Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U31129 Parsons Rd from its junction with U31130 Parsons Rd for a distance of 82m to the end of the cul-de-sac.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover by STW.

Alternative route: No alternative route as location is in a cul-de-sac.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 3 November 2026.

(Link Footpath F30752 Slimbridge Close, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F30752 Slimbridge Cl (between nos. 45 & 46), from its junction with Link Footpath F30753 Wells Cl (side/front nos. 13-22) to its junction with Link Footpath F30752 Slimbridge Cl (fronting nos. 56-58).

Reason: Lay new ducting by Openreach.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F30753 Wells Cl (side/front nos. 13-22), Link Footpath F30753 Wells Cl (front/rear nos. 23-28), Link Footpath F30753 Wells Cl (rear nos. 1-13 to Car Park), Link Footpath F30752 Slimbridge Cl (side no. 59), Link Footpath F30752 Slimbridge Cl (fronting nos. 56-58) and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of U30039 Coupass Cottages from its junction with C2038 High St to the end of the cul-de-sac.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: No alternative route as location is in a cul-de-sac.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 3 November 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U31227 Other Rd from its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout for a distance of 26 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Replacement of damaged column by WCC.

Alternative route: A4023 Coventry Highway, A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout, A441 Alvechurch Highway, C2101 Alvechurch Highway, C2101 Holloway Dr, U31149 Union St, U31100 Burton Ln and U31100 Holloway Ln.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 20 November 2026.

(U23445 Corbett Road, Hollywood) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U23445 Corbett Rd from its junction with U23454 Easton Grove to its junction with U23453 Heath Rd.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: U23453 Heath Rd, U23451 Dyas Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 3 November 2026.

(Link Footpath Bengrove Close, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F30529 Bengrove Cl (o/s No’s 1-5) from its junction with U31081 Bengrove Cl to its junction with Link Footpath F30533 Cropthorne Cl (btw no’s 56A-57).

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F30533 Cropthorne Cl (btw no’s 56A-57), Link Footpath F30548 Longdon Cl (side no. 74), Unnumbered Footpath belonging to Redditch Borough, Link Footpath F30546 Doverdale Cl (btw no’s 44/45), Unnumbered Footpath belonging to Redditch Borough, U33219 Woodrow Centre, Link Footpath F30542 Woodrow Centre (side no. 32), Link Footpath F30542 Woodrow Centre (Side no. 13 Eckington Cl), Link Footpath F30521 Dr to Dingleside School - Woodrow North, Link Footpath F30520 Dr to Dingleside School - Wishaw Cl, Link Footpath F30524 Bengoworth Cl (o/s no. 39-40) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days between 23 November 2026 and 8 December 2026.

(U30100 Evesham Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U30100 Evesham Rd from its junction with C2137 Birchfield Rd to its junction with C2137 Headless Cross Dr.

Reason: Duct clearance by WHP Telecoms.

Alternative route: C2137 Birchfield Rd, U30100 Evesham Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 23 November 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting/No Loading on Unicorn Hill, Redditch]

On 15 October 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting/prohibit loading at any time on the following length and side of road in Redditch: -

Unicorn Hill (South side) From a point 12m east of its junction with Bates Hill for a distance of 10m in an easterly direction.

From a point 7m west of its junction with Bates Hill for a distance of 10m in a westerly direction

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 5 November 2026.
