Willington Road - Temporary Road Closure To Lid Repair in Carriageway
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WILLINGTON ROAD, ETWALL
WHEN: 16 November 2026 to 18 November 2026
WHERE: Willington Road, Etwall between Main Street and Portland Street.
REASON: To facilitate lid repair in carriageway.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Main Street, Egginton Road, Belfield Road, Willington Road, Oaklands Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
