The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015

Notice Under Article 15 (1A) and (2)

The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 (as amended)

Application reference: 24/P/1586/OU2

Proposed development at land north of Southfield Road Trading Estate, Clevedon Road, Nailsea

I give notice that Nailsea Holdings LVA LLP is applying to North Somerset Council for planning permission for outline permission with Environmental Statement for the erection of up to 429 dwellings, 1.1ha of land for employment uses, 0.35ha of land to accommodate a community building and car park, improvements to existing playing pitches, public open space, woodland planting, sustainable drainage systems and ancillary works, with means of access off two primary access points onto the B3130 for approval, all other matters (other access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) reserved for subsequent approval. The proposed development is accompanied by an Environmental Statement, is a major application, does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated, affects public rights of way and the setting of a Listed Building.

This is a reconsultation due to the removal of the care home proposal, an increase in the number of dwellings and revised technical reports submitted in response to consultees.

All comments made on this application in the past will be taken into account. Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the Environmental Statement, the plans and other documents submitted with it at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/planning and at North Somerset Council, Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1UJ during normal office hours until the application is finally determined. Hard copies of the Environmental Statement and Non-Technical Summary can also be provided, for a fee, by contacting: Grass Roots Planning Ltd, Suites 9 and 10, Bristol North Baths, Gloucester Road, Bishopston, Bristol BS7 8DH or email: enquiries@grassroots-planning.co.uk
