What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BRAMBLE WAY, SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 18 November to 19 November 2026 (20:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Bramble Way, South Normanton from the slip road off the A38 to the Jct. of Clover Nook Road.
REASON: To facilitate maintenance and repair of drainage, grass, signage and lighting.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Exit slip - A38 southbound to B600 exit, Nottingham Road, Cotes Park Lane, Clover Nook Road.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
