Steep - Temporary Road Closure due to Drainage Connection Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – CHURCH ROAD, STEEP, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Church Road between its junction with Mill Lane and its junction with Bedales School.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Waterworks Road, School Lane, Farnham Road, Inmans Lane, A272, B2070, Station Road, Winchester Road, Bell Hill.
DURATION OF ORDER: From 31st October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above, the restrictions will only be implemented when required and traffic signs are in place).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Amerra Groundworks Ltd to carry out drainage connection works. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order, please contact: finn@amerra.co.uk.
Amerra Groundworks Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
