What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – FARNBOROUGH ROAD, RUSHMOOR
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Farnborough Road between its junction with Church Avenue and its junction with Pinehurst roundabout
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pinehurst Roundabout, Farnborough Road, Clockhouse Roundabout, Farnborough Road, Bradford Road Roundabout, Farnborough Road, Blackwater Valley Road, Coleford Bridge Road, Blackwater Valley Road, Lynchford Road, Farnborough Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 9th November 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between 08:00-23:00)
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect It Utility Services Ltd to carry out excavation works.
