What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CADLEY LANE, CALDWELL
WHEN: 18 November to 19 November 2026 (21:00 to 05:00)
WHERE: Cadley Lane, Caldwell at the Railway Jct.
REASON: To facilitate de-vegetation and detailed structure examination.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cadley Lane, Cauldwell Road, Rosliston Road, Rosliston Road South, Saxon Street, Stanton Road, Woodland Road, Burton Road, Cadley Hill Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
