TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION 400300 STERRY’S LANE
(GORSLEY AND KILCOT PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 400300 Sterry’s Lane from outside of the property known as ‘Brookfields Farm’ to outside of the property known as ‘Annexe Brookfield Cottage’ for a total distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the closure and restriction is for replacement lighting pole. There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the
duration of the said works.
The road is expected to be closed and restricted between 08:00hrs and
17:00hrs on 30th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not
completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen
months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 500032 LAUNDRY LANE
(NEWLAND PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 500032 Laundry Lane from outside of the property known as ‘Pear Tree Cottage’ to its junction with Laundry Lane adjacent to Rose Cottage for a distance of approximately 500 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid
The road is expected to be closed from 2nd November 2026 until 6th November 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date
the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said
works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(COLEFORD TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400071 Old Road from outside the property known as ‘Ivydene’ to outside the property known as ‘Rose Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 170 metres. The reason for the closure is for works to lay a new gas pipe.
The road is expected to be closed from 2nd November 2026 until 6th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure and restriction is for drainage works.
There will be no stopping, loading, unloading or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.
The road is expected to be closed and restricted from 2nd November 2026 until 4th November 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by
this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C357 Road from Swanpool Wood to the junction with Almhouse Road from outside of the property known as ‘The Vicarage’ to outside of the property known as ‘Spout Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 180 metres.
The reason for the closure is for drainage works.
There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works. The road is expected to be closed from 16th November 2026 until 19th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for manhole cover works.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 16:00hrs on 15th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by
this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
