The Council intends to make an order, operative from 13 November 2026 for 1 day between 9.30am and 3.30pm approx, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Entwistle Street from George Barton St to Starkie Rd to allow sewer works to take place. Alternate route will be via Scowcroft St, Tonge Moor Rd, Thicketford Rd, Ainsworth Lane. The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
