Pound Lane, North Baddesley, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to pole replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Pound Lane between a point 970 metres North of its junction with Nutburn Road and continuing to a point 140 metres North on Pound Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pound Lane, A3090, Hook Road, B3043, Baddesley Road, Flexford Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 9th November 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 08:00-18:00).
