A3057 Winchester Road, Andover, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A3057 Winchester Road between its junction with A303 Eastbound Slip exit and its junction with A303 Westbound Slip exit.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A303, A3093. A303, A343, A3057.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 10th November 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 nights working between the hours 21:00-06:00).
