ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

A920 HUNTLY – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (A920 Huntly – 30.10.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 30.10.26 until 12.11.26  and will prohibit any person from driving on the A920 Huntly at Springfield Cottage for 130 metres.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety to install poles and lay a duct for telecom work. An alternative route is available via the A920 – A96T – A97 – A941 – A920 and vice versa.

Details of the restriction can be viewed online at https://online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/apps/roadworks/
