THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (COTTESMORE GARDENS) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Cottesmore Gardens to be closed from the junction of Victoria Road to outside number 3 Cottesmore Gardens.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for crane works.
The restrictions will come into force from 07.00hrs until 20.00hrs on Monday 9th November 2026, with a backup date of Monday 16th November 2026.
Diverted through traffic may use Cottesmore Gardens, Stanford Road, St Alban's Grove, Victoria Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
