Portsmouth City Council (Reginald Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.175) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 9th November 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
REGINALD ROAD
From its junction with Hatfield Road, along Reginald Road to outside No.184 Reginald Road.
B) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY
REGINALD ROAD
From its junction with Prince Albert Road to outside No.184 Reginald Road.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 9th November 2026 to 20th November 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Prince Albert Road, Methuen Road, Hatfield Road.
Cycles will be diverted from Hatfield Road, Landguard Road, Prince Albert Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
