(PIKE LAW LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pike Law Lane, Slaithwaite from a point outside property no. 26 to its junction with Pike Law Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Pike Law Lane, High Street, Slaithwaite Gate, Pike Law Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 11 November 2026 and remain in force until 13 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BARNSIDE, HEPWORTH, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Barnside, Hepworth from a point outside property no. 5 to its junction with Snug Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sheffield Road, Foster Place Lane, Barnside Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 9 November 2026 and remain in force until 11 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BROWN’S KNOLL ROAD, THURSTONLAND, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Brown’s Knoll Road, Thurstonland from its junction with Town Moor to its junction with Greenside Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Town Moor Lane, Marsh Lane, Thurstonland Road, Greenside Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 9 November 2026 and remain in force until 11 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MOOR LANE, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Lane, Netherthong from a point outside property Fox House Farm to a point outside property Moor Gate Farm PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Moor Lane, West End, Town Gate, New Road, Huddersfield Road, Woodhead Road, Huddersfield Road, Bridge Street, Meltham Road, Holmfirth Road, Coach Road, Thick Hollins Road, Wilshaw Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 9 November 2026 and remain in force until 20 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BROOK LANE, GOLCAR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Brook Lane, Golcar from its junction with James Street to its junction with Share Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-

Diversion 1 -via Share Hill Road, Lower Wellhouse Road, Radcliffe Road, Carr Lane, Britannia Road, Back O’Dam, Manchester Road, Morley Lane, Market Street, Scar Lane, James Street, the unaffected length Brook Lane;

Diversion 2 - via the unaffected length of Brook Lane, James Street, Scar Lane, Market Street, Yates Lane, Morley Lane, Manchester Road, Back O’Dam, Britannia Road, Carr Lane, Radcliffe Road, Lower Wellhouse Road, Share Hill Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday, 13 November 2026 and remain in force until 17 January 2027 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STATION ROAD, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Station Road, Slaithwaite from its junction with Crimble Bank to its junction with Carr Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Station Road, Carr Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 9 November 2026 and remain in force until 11 November 2026 between 21:00 hours to 05:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GEORGE STREET, LINDLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of George Street, Lindley from a point outside property no. 29 to a point outside property no. 27 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of George Street, East Street, Lidget Street, Holly Bank Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 9 November 2026 and remain in force until 10 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BIRKS LANE/DARK LANE, ALMONDBURY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Birks Lane/Dark Lane, Almondbury from its junction with Fenay Court to a point outside property no. 12 Dark Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:-

Diversion 1 - via Birks Lane, Fenay Lane, Dark Lane and vice versa;

Diversion 2 - via Birks Lane, Arkenley Lane, St Helen’s Gate, Dark Lane and vice versa.

BLACKMOORFOOT ROAD/ COWLERSLEY LANE/CROSLAND HILL ROAD, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Blackmoorfoot Road/Cowlersley Lane/ Crosland Hill Road, Crosland Moor from its junction with Thewlis Lane to Crosland Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Blackmoorfoot Road, Gillroyd Lane, Cowlersley Lane, Manchester Road, Crosland Hill Road, Tom Lane, Blackmoorfoot Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 1 November 2026 between 20:00 hours to 05:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(RADCLIFFE STREET, SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Radcliffe Street, Skelmanthorpe from a point outside property no. 5 to a point outside property no. 15 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Radcliffe Street, Huddersfield Road, Cumberworth Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BUTT LANE, HEPWORTH, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Butt Lane, Hepworth from its junction with Hepworth Road for approximately 30 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Butt Lane, Town Gate, Main Gate, Foster Place, Sheffield Road, East Street, Hepworth Road, Chapel Bank.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 28 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STONES LANE, LINTHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Stones Lane, Linthwaite from its junction with Chapel Hill to a point outside property no. 2 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Chapel Hill, Causeway Side, Gillroyd Lane, Church Lane, Heath Road, Felks Stile Road, Blackmoorfoot Road, Upper Clough Road.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 29 October 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(QUEEN STREET, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Queen Street, from its junction with Queensgate for approximately 195 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday, 25 October 2026 and remain in force until 1 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HALIFAX OLD ROAD, BIRKBY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Halifax Old Road, Birkby from its junction with Ash Street to Miln Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road, Spaines Road, Halifax Old Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LOWER QUARRY ROAD, BRADLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Quarry Road, Bradley from a point outside property no. 19 for approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Sunday, 25 October 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PLAINS LANE/DIRKER ROAD, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Plains Lane/Dirker Bank Road from a point outside property no. 17 Dirker Bank Road along Plains Lane to junction with Spring Head Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(BACK HONORIA STREET, FARTOWN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Back Honoria Street, Fartown form its junction with Wasp Nest Road to a point to rear of property no.18 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wasp Nest Road, Cobcroft Road, Bradford Road, Back Honoria Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(COLD HILL LANE, NEW MILL, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cold Hill Lane, New Mill from its junction with Windy Ridge to its junction with High Meadow PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Huddersfield Road, Thurstonland Bank Road, The Village, Town Moor Lane, Brown’s Knoll Road, Ing Head Lane, Halstead Lane, Cold Hill Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 28 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GREEN CLIFF, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Green Cliff, Honley from a point approximately 36 metres north of Greenway Cliff to its junction with Thirstin Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Church Street, Westgate, Thirstin Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BURN ROAD, BIRCHENCLIFFE, HUDDERSFIELD)  (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF EXISTING ORDER) (NO. 3) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be to permit vehicles to proceed in a southerly direction that length of Burn Road, Birchencliffe from its junction with Woodlands Crescent to its junction with Rock Road (i.e two way traffic) PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

To facilitate this restriction the existing One Way Traffic restrictions on Burn Road is hereby temporarily suspended for the duration off the works in as far and as much as it affects this length of road.

It is intended that the restriction will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 to follow on from the Emergency Notice dated 5 October 2026 and will remain in force until 27 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
