What is happening?
SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Borough Council of Sandwell (Boscobel Avenue, Tipton) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Boscobel Avenue, which will be closed at the junction of Mayfair Gardens for 75 metres, including the cul-de-sac to the rear of property No’s 21-25. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Mayfair Gardens, Park Lane West, Brewery Street & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 26/11/2026, effective from 03/11/2026 (24hr). Traffic will be diverted via Myvod Road, Park Lane, Dingley Road & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 23/11/2026, effective from 02/11/2026.
