Waterlooville - Temporary Road Closure due to High Voltage Cable Installation Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – FOREST END, WATERLOOVILLE, HAVANT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Forest End between its junction with A3 London Road and its junction with Norton Close.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A

DURATION OF ORDER: from 6th November 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 weeks, working between the hours 19:00 – 06:00).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Durkin and Sons to carry out excavation and installation of new HV cables and transfer services. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: streetworks@durkinandsons.co.uk
