Kytes Lane, Durley - Temporary Road Closure due to Frame and Cover Replacement Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – KYTES LANE, DURLEY, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Kytes Lane between its junction with Manor Road and continuing to a point 100 metres West on Kytes Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kytes Lane, Heathen Street, Gregory Lane, Mincingfield Lane.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 2nd November 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Circet UK to complete frame and cover replacement.
