Lowestoft - Multiple Temporary Road Closures for Footway and Water Connection Works

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4064 CRESTVIEW DRIVE AND U4046 WESTHALL ROAD, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads
U4064 Crestview Drive, Lowestoft from Frostenden Crescent to Oulton Road
U4046 Westhall Road, Lowestoft from Crestview Drive to Spashett Road
This is to facilitate footway slurry works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Spashett Road, Hollingworth Road, Oulton Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/11/2026 - 06/11/2026 from 8am - 5pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4150 SUSSEX ROAD, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4150 Sussex Road, Lowestoft from the junction with St Margarets Road to the junction with the A47 to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A47, Park Road, St Margarets Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 21/11/2026 - 22/01/2027 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
