TEMPORARY CLOSURE C262 THE STREET (SHIPTON MOYNE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C262 The Street Road from outside the property known as ‘No. 30’ to outside the property known as ‘Court Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 30 metres. The reason for the closure is for sewer repair works.

The road is expected to be closed from 26th October 2026 until 30th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the closures is for the installation of internet network works.

The said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 26th October 2026, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This Order may permit the closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 4th November 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C272 Star Lane, from outside the property known as ‘No. 6’ to outside the property known as ‘No. 16’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres. The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 27th October 2026 until 29th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of B4014 Silver Street from its junction with The Green to its junction with Gumstool Hill for a distance of approximately 80 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for private house repair works.

The said road is expected to be closed from the 26th October 2026 until 27th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for carriageway resurfacing works.

The road is expected to be closed between 09:00hrs and 15:00hrs daily from 26th October 2026 to 9th November 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for highway kerbing works.

The road is expected to be closed from 9th November 2026 until 13th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
