East Morton - Temporary Road Closure due to Telecommunication Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL STREET LANE, EAST MORTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Street Lane, East Morton has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Street Lane from a point outside No.2 Street Lane to a point outside High Stead.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Street Lane (unaffected section), Ilkley Road, Banks Lane, Granby Lane, Bradford Road, Swine Lane, Carr Lane and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 26th October 2026 and remains in force until 18:00 hours on the 26th October 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
