BEVERLEY ROAD, WILLERBY (PART)
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Beverley Road, Willerby (between Tudor Court junction and Willerby Square roundabout).
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed change of telecom pole works to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given time. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via the remainder of Beverley Road, Great Gutter Lane Roundabout, Willerby Roundabout, Humber Bridge Northern Approach Road, Riplingham Road Roundabout, Swanland Roundabout, Tranby Lane, Haltemprice Roundabout, South Ella Way, Gorton Road, Gorton Road Roundabout, Kingston Road and Willerby Square Roundabout. The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 1 November 2026 between 17.00 hours and 23.00 hours and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
