FOOTPATH 1 DIVERSION ORDER 2026
(PARISH OF CHETWYND ASTON AND WOODCOTE)
The above Order, made on 17 June 2026, under Section 257 of the Town and Countryside Planning Act 1990 and 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed as made will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by diverting the footpath from (GRSJ 75160 18286) the route being a cross-field path having a width of 1 metre continues south-west for a distance of 160 metres to (GRSJ 75312 18194) to the junction with the A518 then continues south-west across the A518 for a distance of 40 metres to (GRSJ 75321 18187) and adding a footpath from (GRSJ 75160 18286) the route being a surfaced path having a width of 1.2 metres continues east-by-north for a distance of 25 metres to the estate road (GRSJ 75205 18302) ten continues east-by-north along a surfaced pavement having a width of 1.2 metres for a distance of 60 metres to (GRSJ 75259 18339) then continues south-by-west along the pavement for a distance of 90 metres to (GRSJ 75244 18224) then continues in a general westerly direction along a surfaced path having a width of 1.2 metres for a distance of 85 metres to the junction with the A518 at (GRSJ 75312 18198) then continues south-south-east across the A518 for a distance of 40 metres to (GRSJ 75321 18187).
Any representations about or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director: Policy and Governance, Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Legal Services, Darby House, Lawn Central, Telford, TF3 4JA or via email to
not later than 13 December 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
