The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas main renewal & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 9/11 & 29/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Cowley Road, Cambridge as lies between The Maurice Wilkes Building & Orwell House. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1309; A1134; A1309 respectively. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 22:00hrs & 04:00hrs 13/11 & 17/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Windsor Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21849

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Windsor Road, Cambridge as lies between Nos.2 & 8. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1049; A1134; A1307; Oxford Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 16/11 & 17/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-21851

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between No.16 & Milton Road. During the period this Order remains in force the Order: The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 32) Order 2003. Relevant wording: Schedule 23 Cycle lane: Part 2 mandatory with flow cycle lane Kings Hedges Road on its northeast side from its junction with Cambridge Regional College entrance to a point 44 metres northwest of the centreline of its junction with Milton Road is hereby suspended.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate trial holes & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 08:00hrs & 17:00hrs on 2/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge are in progress. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Broadway, Bourn as lies between St Neots Road, Knapwell & Great Common Cottages. The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the speed limit along the whole or any part of the above mentioned length of road whilst works are in progress or temporarily suspended. The alternative route for vehicles is via St Neots Rd, Knapwell; St Neots Rd, Bourn; St Neots Rd, Caldecote; St Neots Rd, Dry Drayton; St Neots Rd, Hardwick; Cambridge Rd; Main St; Toft Rd; Hardwick Rd, Toft; B1046; Gills Hill, Bourn; High St; Alms Hill & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate S278 junction construction & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 1/11/26 & 1/3/27, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Station Road, Longstanton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21863

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Longstanton as lies between Longstanton Park & Ride Access Road, Northstowe & Cambridgeshire Guided Busway. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1050; A1123; A1096; A1307; B1050 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate Section 278 & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 22:00hrs & 04:00hrs 30/11 & 2/12/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Huntingdon Road, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-21930

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Nos. 160 & 164. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area H (Consolidation) Order 1993 Schedule 23 Part 2 Mandatory with-flow cycle lane, Huntingdon Road on the northeastern side from a point 40 metres north west of its junction with Girton Road to a point 27 metres south east of its junction with Sherlock Road is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecoms maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 10/11 & 14/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Huntingdon Road, Cambridge are in progress. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway surface treatment & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/11/26 & will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
