What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
CHASE SIDE EN2
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Dates: 29 October 2026 at any time, for 3 days or until works are completed.
Effect of the Order: The general effect of the Order would be to close this road from a point between No.s 201-207.
GREEN DRAGON LANE N21
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Railway Works
Operational Dates and times: 29 October between 22:00pm - 06:00am, for 1 night or until works are completed.
Effect of the Order: The general effect of the Order would be to close this road approximately 65m from its junction with Hadley Way, eastwards for approx. 100m.
MOUNT PLEASANT EN4
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works
Operational Dates and times: 29 October 2026 between 21:00 – 05:00 for 1 night or until works are completed.
Effect of the Order: The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking on both sides, between its junction with Cockfosters Road and No.2 Mount Pleasant.

- Suspend parking on this road from 68 Bilton Way to its junction with Mollison Avenue.
Newbury Avenue
- Close this road from the side of 92 Bilton Way to outside 85 Newbury Avenue.
Millmarsh Lane
- Suspend parking on this road from the side of 92 Bilton Way to outside 85 Newbury Avenue.
East Duck Lees Lane
- Close this road from its junction with Mollison Avenue to its junction with Northampton Road.
Lockfield Avenue
- Suspend parking on this road from 80 to 92 Lockfield Avenue.
Suez Road
- Close this road from its junction with Mollison Avenue to 17 Suez Road.
TYSOE AVENUE EN3
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Dates and times: 2 November 2026 at any time, on a phased basis, for 14 days or until works are completed.
Effect of the Order: The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road from its junction with Ramney Drive to the junction of Ordnance Road on both sides of the road.

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Dates and times: 2 November 2026 at any time for 8 weeks or until works are completed.
Effect of the Order: The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on the whole length of these roads, on a phased basis, on both sides of the carriageways.
General Provisions
