Main Road, Wyaston - Temporary Road Closure To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MAIN ROAD, WYASTON
WHEN: 30 October to 01 November 2026
WHERE: Main Road, Wyaston between Ivy House and Jct. with Orchard Lane.
REASON: To facilitate resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Edlaston Lane, Collycroft Hill, A515, Hales Green, Main Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
