(VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF CHARNWOOD) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (VARIOUS ROADS, SHEPSHED) (AMENDMENT 16) ORDER 202
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
To impose No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions on parts of Trueway Drive, Homeway Close, Cheviot Drive, Porlock Close, Malvern Avenue, Arbury Dale, Linley Avenue and Purley Rise, Shepshed
To impose School Keep Clear No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-4pm restrictions on part of Trueway Drive
To impose Bus Stop Clearway No Stopping Mon-Sat 8am-6pm restrictions on part of Trueway Drive
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA or at the offices of Charnwood Borough Southfield Road, Loughborough, LE11 2TX and on the Notice Board of Shepshed Town Council.
Documents can also be viewed online at https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/cars-and-parking/traffic-management-consultations Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 11th November 2026, quoting reference HT/HTWMT/6284.
