ON-STREET PARKING PLACES NOTICE OF VARIATION OF PARKING CHARGES OCTOBER 2026
The City of York Council, having made a resolution to vary the charges for those “on-street” parking places, authorising the use of those “on-street” parking places set out in The York Parking, Stopping and Waiting Traffic Order 2014, hereby gives notice in accordance with Section 46A and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the revised charges will come into effect at 0001 hours on 12th November 2026. This Notice has the effect of amending the provisions of the said Order by deleting the existing charges and substituting the revised charges wherever they are required to be changed to accord with the following schedule:

This Notice has the effect of amending the provisions of the said Order by deleting the existing charges and substituting the revised charges wherever they are required to be changed to accord with the following schedule:

The City of York Council, having made a resolution to vary the charges for those “on-street” parking places, authorising the use of those “on-street” parking places set out in The York Parking, Stopping and Waiting Traffic Order 2014, hereby gives notice in accordance with Section 46A and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the revised charges will come into effect at 0001 hours on 12th November 2026 and to ease to have effect at 2400 hours on 21st December 2026, at which point the charges will revert back to the charges implemented 1st April 2026. This Notice has the effect of amending the provisions of the said Order by deleting the existing charges and substituting the revised charges wherever they are required to be changed to accord with the following schedule:

OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES NOTICE OF VARIATION OF CHARGES OCTOBER 2026
City of York Council, having made a resolution to vary the charge for a Minster Badge from its current £40.00 charge, which is valid for a period of 2 years from the date of its issue, hereby gives notice in accordance with Section 35C and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the revised charge for a Minster Badge is £15.00, which will be valid for a period of 1 year from the date of issue. The new charge to come into effect on the 12th day of November 2026.
