Stockport - Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT 

(ASHTON STREET, SOUTH VIEW AND PEART AVENUE, WOODLEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) NOTICE 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time at Ashton Street (Northeast Side) - from a point 10m northwest of the intersection of the northwestern kerb line of South View, to a point 13m southeast of the intersection of the southeastern kerb line of South View. South View (Both Sides) - from the intersection of the northeastern kerb line of Ashton Street for a distance of 10m in a north easterly direction. South View (Southwest Side) - from a point 10m southwest of the intersection of the south western kerb line of Peart Avenue, to a point 10m northeast of the intersection of the north eastern kerb line of Peart Avenue. Peart Avenue (Both Sides) - from the intersection of the south eastern kerb line of South View for a distance of 10m in a southeasterly direction. Any person wishing to object to this proposed Order should write, specifying their grounds for objection, to the undersigned (or by email to traffic@stockport.gov.uk) on or before 11 November 2026 quoting reference JO/20134877.
