Llangrannog - Temporary Road Closures due to Water Main Renewal Works

Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (B4334 a’r U5107 Llangrannog, Llandysul) (Gwahardd Traffig Dros Dro) 2026, heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o 20/10/2026, gan wahardd pob cerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y briffordd honno. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Ar gau 24 awr y dydd. Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad y de o bwynt i’r gorllewin o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd ar yr U5107 yw teithio ar hyd yr U5107 i’r gyffordd â’r U5089. Trowch i’r dde i’r U5089 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â’r B4321. Trowch i’r dde i’r B4321 gan deithio am oddeutu 3.7 milltir i’r gyffordd â’r A487T ym Mhentregât. Trowch i’r dde i’r A487T gan deithio i’r gyffordd â’r B4334 ym Mrynhoffnant. Trowch i’r dde i’r B4334 gan deithio am oddeutu 1.4 milltir i’r groesffordd hyd y pwynt i’r de o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Mae’r ffordd arall tua 7.2 milltir. Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad y de a’r gorllewin o bwynt i’r gogledd o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd ar y B4334 yw teithio ar hyd y B4334 i’r gyffordd â’r B4321 gan ddilyn y dargyfeiriad sydd eisoes yn bodoli (gan droi i’r dde os ydych yn mynd i gyfeiriad y de neu droi i’r chwith os ydych yn mynd i gyfeiriad y gorllewin); ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Bwriedir i’r Gorchymyn ddod i rym ar 04/11/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes y bydd y gwaith o adnewyddu’r prif bibellau sment asbestos ar ran Dwr Cymru wedi’i gwblhau – bydd hyn yn cymryd tua 4 mis. Gall y Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.

Ceredigion County Council

The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 20/10/2026, to make the Ceredigion County Council (B4334 and U5107 Llangrannog, Llandysul) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. Closed 24 hours daily. The alternative route for south bound traffic from a point west of the closure on the U5107 is to travel along the U5107 to its junction with the U5089. Turn right onto the U5089 and travel to its junction with the B4321. Turn right onto the B4321 and travel for approximately 3.7 miles to its junction with the A487T at Pentregat. Turn right onto the A487T and travel to its junction with the B4334 at Brynhoffnant. Turn right onto the B4334 and travel for approximately 1.4 miles to the crossroads and a point south of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 7.2 miles. The alternative route for south bound and west bound traffic from a point north of the closure on the B4334 is to travel along the B4334 to its junction with the B4321 and follow existing diversion (turning right for south bound traffic or turning left for west bound traffic); and vice versa. It is intended that the Order will come into force on 04/11/2026 and will continue renewal works of the existing asbestos cement mains for Welsh Water have been completed – approximately 4 months. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
