The Isle of Wight Council’s Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders

The Isle of Wight Council (Hatherton Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 3 2026 – Hatherton Road will be closed for its entire length.

The Isle of Wight Council (Springvale Road, Seaview, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 3 2026 – Springvale Road will be closed for its entire length.

The Isle of Wight Council (Marlborough Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 5 2026 – Marlborough Road will be closed for its entire length.

The Isle of Wight Council (Marlborough Close, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 3 2026 – Marlborough Close will be closed for its entire length.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 16 October 2026 and Friday 29 January 2027 the following roads / path will be closed, at all times, for a period of approximately 1 to 10 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works and any required pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following footpaths: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include reconstruction, resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of the paths / roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closures. Adverse weather will have an impact on this programme.
