Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 16 October 2026 and Friday 27 November 2026 the following roads / path will be closed between either 0600 and 1800 hours or 1800 hours and 0600 hours for a period of approximately 1 to 15 days or nights within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, surfacing, hedging & quartering, lining and cats eyes works and any required pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following footpaths: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include reconstruction, resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of the paths / roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe.
