The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will be operative from 23rd October 2026.
The effect of the Order will be as follows:
Deletions:
No Waiting At Any Time
Wimberry Hill Road (East Side), Wimberry Hill Road (East side), Great Bank Road (South side) and Barrs Fold Road (both).
Additions:
No Waiting At Any Time:
Wimberry Hill Road (east), Barrs Fold Road (east), Barrs Fold Road (west) and Barrs Fold Road (west).
No Waiting 10:00pm – 6:00am
Great Bank Road (east), Great Bank Road (east), Great Bank Road (north) and Barrs Fold Road (west).

The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will be operative from 23rd October 2026.
The effect of the Order will be as follows:

No U-Turn: - Wimberry Hill Road
A copy of the Order, together with relevant plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed online at www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders and at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours.
Anybody wishing to question the Order’s provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks from the 16th October 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
