THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(THE ORCHARD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on The Orchard from the junction of
Hall Street to outside property 33. Access/egress to be
maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 26th October 2026 until
28th October 2026.
The Order is required to facilitate works to clear duct
blockages by BT.
