THE OLDHAM AREA CONSOLIDATION ORDER DISABLED BAYS AMENDMENT ORDER 2026

The Oldham Borough Council on 16th October 2026 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to

1. remove the disabled bays as detailed in the First Schedule below

2. introduce 24 hour disabled persons parking bays in the locations detailed in the Second Schedule below The Order will come into operation on 23rd October 2026

A copy of the Order and a map showing the lengths of road referred to and a copy of the Council's statement of reasons may be examined at my office between the hours of 8.40am and 5.00pm Telephone 0161 770 1314 Ref: JP/TO26/27 VF26416 at J R Clynes Building Greaves Street Oldham If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date hereof apply to the High Court for the purpose.
