(C2100 Lodge Hill, Defford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2100 Lodge Hill from its junction with U46413 Croome Rd for a distance of 200 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Electricity cable replacement by National Grid.

Alternative route: C2100 Bluebell Ln, A4104 Defford Rd, A4104 Three Springs Rd, B4084 Worcester Rd, C2056 Besford Rd, C2056 Rebecca Rd, C2100 Ladywood Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 21 October 2026.

(C2022 Hill Furze Road, Bishampton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2022 Hill Furze Rd from its junction with C2117 Hill Furze for a distance of 495 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2022 Fladbury Hill, A44 Evesham Rd, C2012 Throckmorton Rd, C2012 Throckmorton to Bishampton, C2012 Main St, C2022 Broad Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 6 November 2026.

(U47008 Holloway, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47008 Holloway from its junction with U47009 Holloway Dr for a distance of 72 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2056 Besford Bridge, B4084 Worcester Rd, A4104 Three Springs Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 12 November 2026.

(Link Footpath F40640 Head Street to St Agathas Close/ Link Footpath F40640 St. Agathas Road to Monk Street, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of:

1) Link Footpath F40640 Head Street to St. Agathas Close from its junction with Link Footpath F40640 St. Agathas Rd (fronting No’s 34-39) to its junction with Link Footpath F40640 St. Agathas Rd to Monk St.

2) Link Footpath F40640 St. Agathas Road to Monk Street from its junction with U47041 St. Agathas Rd for a distance of 24 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Wales and West Utilities.

Alternative route: U47041 St. Agathas Rd, U47017 Head St, B4084 High St, U47023 Priest Ln, U47038 St. Agathas Cl and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 32 days (24hrs). Commencing: 19 October 2026.

(C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury, Peopleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury from its junction with U43008 Edwards Bridge Ln to its junction with U47402 Monks Way.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2115 Peopleton Ln, A422 Broughton Hackett to Upton Snodsbury, A422 Alcester Rd, A44 Evesham Rd, A44 Worcester Rd, C2115 Stonebow to Peopleton, C2115 Main St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 12 November 2026.

(U45619 Sandys Avenue, Wickhamford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U45619 Sandys Ave from its junction with A44 Pitchers Hill for the entire length of the cul de sac.

Reason: New/replacement water main by STW.

Alternative route: Not applicable as cul de sac location.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 45 days. Commencing: 9 November 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(District of Wychavon – Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026

[Prohibition of Waiting on B4084 Pershore Road and Mucknall Farm Lane, Norton]

On 1 October 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following side and length of road in Norton:-

B4084 Pershore Road (both sides): from its junction with Mucknall Farm Lane for a distance of 406 metres in a south easterly direction.

Mucknall Farm Lane (both sides): from its junction with B4084 Pershore Road for a distance of 158 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 22 October 2026.
