Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (C1142 Birchwood Road, Suckley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C1142 Birchwood Rd from a point 232 metres northeast of its junction with C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Ln Alfrick for a distance of 320 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Pole testing by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Ln Alfrick, C2064 Stocks Rd, C2064 Alfrick Pound, C2064 Bridges Stone, C2064 Stitchins Hill, C2064 Ashfields, C2064 Smith End Green, C2227 Sherridge Rd, A4103 Dragons Cross to Hereford Rd, A4103 Dragons Cross, A4103 Storridge into Herefordshire, C1142 Birchwood and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of: 1) U50024 Sharman Rd from its junction with A38 Barbourne Rd to its junction with U50021 Woodbine Rd. 2) U50020 Barbourne Terrace from its junction with A38 Barbourne Rd to its junction with U50021 Woodbine Rd. 3) U51000 St. Georges Ln North from its junction with A38 Barbourne Rd to its junction with U50128 Henry St.

Reason: To raise 4 pedestrian crossing points by WCC.

Alternative route: Closure 1 – A38 Barbourne Rd, U50025 Somers Rd, U50021 Townsend and vice versa. Closure 2 – A38 Barbourne Rd, U50024 Sharman Rd, U50021 Woodbine Rd and vice versa. Closure 3 – U50117 Flag Meadow Walk, U50124 Shrubbery Ave, A38 Barbourne Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days. Commencing: 11 November 2026.

(U62205 Berrow Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62205 Berrow Green from its junction with B4197 Berrow Green to its junction with U62204 Berrow Green.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: B4197 Berrow Green, B4197 H ipplecote [Hipplecote], B4197 Collins Green, U62206 Eastinghope Ln and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1) U64203 Little Witley from its junction with U64202 Well Ln for a distance of 709 metres in a southerly direction. Closure 2) U64201 Church Ln from its junction with U64200 Bank Rd for a distance of 189 metres in a south-westerly direction.

Reason: Blockage clearance by Openreach.

Alternative route: Diversion for Closure 1: U64202 Well Ln, A443 Little Witley, A443 Witley Rd, C2241 Ockeridge Ln, C2241 Ockeridge and vice versa.

Diversion for Closure 2: No diversion route as location is in a cul-de-sac.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U53109 The Butts from its junction with U53105 Nether to its junction with U53100 Farrier St and to temporarily (part) suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1977 on The Butts, to allow access for residents and businesses for the duration of the work.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover by STW.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4206 Henwick Rd from its junction with U54171 Rectory Gardens to its junction with U54185 Ingles Dr.

Reason: Level crossing maintenance by Network Rail.

Alternative route: Anti-clockwise diversion: B4206 Henwick Rd (part), A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge St, A443 Hylton Rd, B4206 Henwick Rd (part). Clockwise diversion: B4206 Henwick Rd (part), A443 Hylton Rd, A44 New Rd, A44 Bull Ring, B4206 Henwick Rd (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (23:30-05:00). Commencing: 7 November 2026.

(A44 Spetchley Road, Spetchley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of A44 Spetchley Rd from its junction with A44 Spetchley Crossroads Roundabout to its junction with A4440 County Hall Roundabout.

Reason: Vegetation removal by Spetchley Park Estate.

No access for emergency services, the diversion route must be maintained.

Alternative route: A4538 Preshore Ln, A4538 Wardon Interchange, A4440 Wardon Way, A4440 Parsonage Way, A4440 Trotshill Way, A4440 Grange Way, A4440 Nunnery Way and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 7 November 2026.

(U50348 Sabrina Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50348 Sabrina Ave from its junction with U50319 Northwick Rd for a distance of 162 metres in a south-westerly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U50348 Sabrina Ave (part), U50350 Northwick Ave, U50319 Northwick Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days (24hrs) between 6 November 2026 and 19 November 2026 (Closure in place 24/7).

Order made: To close that part of C2125 Rd from A4538 Evesham Rd to Edwards Ln from its junction with U43001 Moat Farm Ln to its junction with U43002 Church Ln.

Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.

Alternative route: U43003 Edwards Ln, A44 Evesham Rd and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of C2068 Moseley Rd from its junction with C2069 Worlds End to its junction with U64005 Monkwood Green.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Swinesherd Lane, Worcester]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Worcester:

Swinesherd Lane (east side): from a point of 139 metres north of its junction with Swinesherd Way for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly direction with a gap of 18 metres then continuing for a further distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.

Swinesherd Lane (west side): from a point of 129 metres north of its junction with Swinesherd Way for a distance of 12.5 metres in a northerly direction with a gap of 15 metres then continuing for a further distance of 12.5 metres in a northerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
