(BALTIC STREET AND SALAMANDER STREET AREA) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/145
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway resurfacing, footway and drainage works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of the roads specified in Schedule 1, provided that no more than one of the measures in Phases 1 to 7 shall be enacted at the same time; (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait, or load onto or unload from any vehicle on any part of the roads specified in Schedule 2; and (c) walk or cause or permit any person to walk on any part of the footways specified in Schedule 3. Pedestrian access will be maintained where practical. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in Schedule 2. There are no alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closures of: Phase 5, (iii) Carron Pl; and Phase 6, (v) Salamander Ct.
