What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - A30 LONDON ROAD, HOOK, HART
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A30 London Road between its junction with A327 Blackbushes Road roundabout and its junction with B3016
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A30 Harford Bridge Flats, A327 Minley Road, A3013 Cove Road, Minley Road, Fleet Road, A323 Reading Road North, Fleet Road, A30 High Street, A30 London Road, Star Hill
DURATION OF ORDER: from 27th October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 20:00-05:00)
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CEMEX to carry out bridge repairs. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: leo@benchmarkpermits.co.uk
CEMEX will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
